Brian J. "Barney" Cronin, 55

Worcester - Brian J. "Barney" Cronin, 55, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 14. After a lifetime of struggle, the family is content in knowing that he is finally at at peace.

He leaves his mother, Janice (Brunelle) Dillon; three brothers, Steven and his wife, Kerry Cronin of Worcester, James and his wife, Laurie Cronin of Chester, NH and Michael and his wife, Jaime Dillon of Worcester; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was the son of the late James J. Cronin. His brother, Robert Cronin; his sister, Julie Scanlon and his step-father, James Dillon predeceased him. Brian was known for his humor and loved people. He was born in Worcester, graduated from Burncoat High School and was a self employed carpenter.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside service on Friday, October 23 at 11:30AM at St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Genesis Club, 274 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605. Arrangements are in the care of CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St.
