Caroline Florence Wisniewski

Caroline Wisniewski, 84, died on July 2, 2009 after a long illness.

Caroline was born on September 15th, 1924 in North Jay, Maine to Theresa (Whitman) and Richard Hiscock, granddaughter of Florence Wyman Whitman. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexander W. Wisniewski and leaves 5 children, Glory Wedge of Forestdale, Alan Wisniewski of Lowell, Betty Bruley of Spencer, Merry Obrzut of N. Brookfield, and Dean Wisniewski of W. Brookfield. She also leaves 13 grandchildren and 5 great grand-children, a sister, Theo Colpitts, of California and two half brothers, Bruce and James Hiscock of Nevada.

Caroline attended the New Salem Academy, until the family home in Millington became part of the Quabin Watershed, and later graduated from North Brookfield High School. Caroline is a member of the Swift River Valley Historical Society, Friends of the Quabin, the Quaboag Historical Society, and the Wyman Family Association. She was an accomplished seamstress, avid reader and gardener. Caroline also loved family time and history, especially family history.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 9, 2009 at 11:00 o'clock in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert Street in North Brookfield. Burial will follow in Brookfield Cemetery, Route 9, Brookfield. Friends and family are invited back to Dean Wisniewski's in W. Brookfield.
