David Sitler Obituary

David P. Sitler, 69
Worcester - David P. Sitler, 69, of Worcester, died Thursday, April 19th 2012, at home after a long illness. He leaves his close friend, Thomas J. Boucher, with whom he lived; his cat, Holly; and four nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald L. Sitler.
He was born in Bloomsburg, PA, the son of Paul and Betty (Bryden) Sitler, and graduated from Ellington High School in Ellington, CT, and Alfred University. David was a floral buyer for Iandoli's and Shaws Supermarkets, and later worked for the Worcester Public School Department, retiring in 2005 from Gates Lane School. He enjoyed spending summers in Westerly, RI, and trips to Foxwoods.
David's graveside service will be held Thursday, April 26th at 11:00 A.M. in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.

I will never forget how kind you were when i first entered Gates Lane. I am the last cafe' surviver since your reign. Kindest person I've ever meet. Will never forget the halloween we all dressed up and you came in drag bra and all!!! Love you and Tom
