My sympathies to the family of George Briggs. As a youth growing up in New Braintree, my late father was very good friends with George.
I have fond memories of George driving the grader up and down 67 plowing in the winter!
God Bless.

I have the fondest memories of Mr.George Briggs. I lived down the street as a child in New Braintree. I would walk by his house with my brothers often and we would stop to feed or pat the Brigg's donkey-Jack. When George was outside he would always speak kindly with us and offer us a drink of water from their water pump. He had a gentle way about him and I am grateful to have known such a kind man. I extended my deepest sympathies to Georgia and family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss.

George Briggs was one of my first neighbors when he lived on South Main Street, North Brookfield in 1946. He bought the old school house from George Wakefield and later sold it to my Uncle Al Potvin.George was always a gentleman.
