Mary Studley Obituary

Mary (D'Ambra) Studley, 90, formerly of 140 Dorchester St. died peacefully Thursday May 14, 2009 in the Jewish Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.

Her husband Kenneth Studley died in 1996. Mary is survived by a devoted daughter Donna L. Wright of Worcester, four sisters; Frances Cefalo, Josephine Ciarletto, Rose Locke, and Rita Heffner, four grandchildren; Michele Arcuri, Tina Pignataro, Christan Baron, and Thomas Wright. Mary also leaves her four great grandchildren; Isabela, Mia, Alexandria, and Angelina, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Michael D'Ambra, and two sisters, Anne Duncan, and Natalie Valentine.

Mary was born in Worcester daughter of the late Ignazio and Margaret (Carbona) D'Ambra and lived here all her life. Before her husbands' passing Mary and Ken were the owners of Ken's Restaurant in Worcester. She also enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a long time communicant of Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church, and enjoyed being with her family especially her grand and great grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

Mary's funeral will be held on Monday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30AM in Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours in the funeral home are 3-6PM on Sunday (today). Interment will be in St John's Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Jewish Healthcare Center 629 Salisbury St. Worcester, Ma.

Dear Donna and Family,
So sorry to hear about my Aunt,my prayers and thoughts are with you all.So sorry I was not able to attend the services for I'm having problems myself, I'm having treatments for bladder cancer.

To the studley family I am sorry for the lost of mary she was one of the nicest tenant's I had the pleasure of being her maintance man at w.h.a .She treated me as one of her grandchildren.I apolgize that I couldn't be at the wake due to a close friend passing.You will be in my thought's and prayer's.

Mary was the light of my visits as a eucharistic minister to the 5th floor of the Jewish Health Center. I will miss her wonderful smile and warm heart.
