Nancy Caputo Obituary

Ms. Nancy Caputo, 84, formerly of Marble St. passed away Friday, October 7th 2011 at the St Mary Health Care Center.

Nancy is survived by four sisters, Grace Claprood and her husband Edward of Worcester, Lillian Palermo and her husband Joseph of California, Marie Richardson of Maine, Anna Piccoli of Natick, Ma.; two brothers, Frank Caputo and his wife Mary of West Boylston, and Anthony Caputo and his wife Connie of Spencer; also many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was born April 28, 1927 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Capalbo) Caputo.

A lifelong resident of Worcester, Nancy was educated through the Worcester School System. She worked for over fifteen years as a sales clerk at Chess King up until her retirement in 2002.

She was a member of St. Peter's Parish and a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - St. Ann.

Nancy enjoyed her family, knitting and bowling. Her family wishes to thank the staff of St. Mary Health Care and Solamor Hospice for their professionalism, and care.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Nancy's life will be held Wednesday, October 12th at St. Peter's Parish in Worcester at 10 a.m. There will be no calling hours. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, donations may be made in Nancy's memory to a charity of your choice. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
