Dear Judi, Rachel and Paul,
I just heard of Richard's death, and want to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. My memories of him are all happy and it was such a joy to meet and talk with him at the MHS reunions. He was a friend to my late ex-husband, and a man with a wonderful spirit,a great smaile and a warm hug. He will be greatly missed; I always looked forward to our high school reunions as a chance to meet and chat. Sincerely,
Irene Shifflet Axelrod

Hello Judi, Rachel, Paul and all.
With great sadness I just heard today of Richard's passing. I knew him for almost 50 years, even before we went to MHS as we shared the ham radio bug. Over the years we drifted apart, but when he planned the 40th reunion we started talking more and exchanging jokes and anecdotes. We met last on January 13 for lunch in Worcester to talk about the world in general and it was so wonderful to see and hear him. What a great hug he could give. Although I did not see him or talk with him as much as we would have both liked, I count him as one of my best friends. His passing leaves a big hole in my heart.

Some nice pictures from that reunion are at http://efficiamurchristiferi.org/default.aspx

What a great guy he was, and I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please call if I can be of any help in any way.
