Robert F. Pollone

Robert F. Pollone, 59, of 38 High St., died Monday, Sept. 17th, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester, after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 32 years, Bernadette A. (Jolin) Pollone; his two daughters, Linda P. Pollone of Southbridge and Beth A. Pollone of North Brookfield; four brothers, Ralph Pollone of Kennesaw, GA, Richard Pollone of Southbridge, Raymond Pollone of Flower Mound, TX and Ronald Pollone of North Andover; two sisters, Roberta Battista of Dudley and Ramona Pollone of Southbridge; and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Southbridge the son of Dominic A. and Pacina M. (Trifone) Pollone. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Bob loved to cook and worked as a cook for many years in various area restaurants. He most recently worked at Enrico's Restaurant in Sturbridge before his illness. Bob also owned and operated the former OK Coral Restaurant in Sturbridge. He enjoyed bird watching and coin collecting. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family. Bob was known for his great sense of humor and practical jokes.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22nd, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m in St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge, will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Friday, Sept. 21st, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
