Stephen Dembrowski Obituary
Whitinsville - Stephen J. Dembrowski, 75, died February 28, in Newton-Wellesley Hospital after a brief illness. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Marie (Destefano) Dembrowski; his son Peter, his wife Judith and their children, Peter Jr. and Angelina, of Meville, NY. In keeping with Mr. Dembrowski's wishes, there are no services. Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill St., Whitinsville, is assisting the family. To leave a condolence for the family, please visit

I will always remember Steve, he lived on A Street down the "lane" in Hopkinton, MA and I lived on Claflin Street. I remember Steve as a happy guy and a hard worker. He worked for many years at the Irvine family business 85 Hayden Rowe Street in Hopkinton and mentored me as I was coming up in the business at the time. He taught me how to change oil, grease cars, how to correctly wash cars and clean auto windows. I liked Steve, working with him and knowing him. May he rest in eternal Peace. Many fond memories working with Steve at Irvine Brothers garage when I was just a kid. Steve was someone I looked up to as I was 10 years younger and he set a good example for me with his work ethic, fairness and humor. I remember him fondly. May you all take comfort in knowing that he is remembered as a man of tremendous integrity and a person who could always be relied upon to do the right thing in so many circumstances. Our thoughts, prayers and sympathies are with you as you go through this difficult time.
