He was a wisdom teacher who taught me the virtues of humility, detachment, acceptance and surrender to what is, and respect and love all of creation. Thank you, Fr. Keating for giving so much of yourself to the centering prayer community, and for modelling for us how to live the contemplative life in this world. May God hold you tenderly in His loving arms for all of eternity.

A wise spiritual leader has died and his life is being celebrated today, at this very hour in St. Joseph's Abbey Spencer where a funeral mass is held. I am very thankful for having been able to interview him in 2015 and work together with him on his last book 'World Without End'. He guided me through his ideas that have made a difference to so many people around the world. Dear teacher, a sincere thank you. We'll miss you.

God took you in his loving arms. He saw you needed rest. His garden must be beautiful. For He only takes the best. You have inspired me greatly especially with the writings, you were a great inspiration and it is for us now to carry your light as well as we can. Thank you for your kindness and rest in peace, my dear Abbot.

So deeply sorry for the loss of your loved one. May Gods promise found in John 6:40 of the hope to see your loved one again bring you and your family the comfort, peace and strength for the days ahead.
