Virginia Pappas Obituary

Virginia M Pappas loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Monday, February 2nd.


She leaves her husband of 62 years Christie Pappas who has been devoted to her care for many years. She also leaves her daughter Lynne M Garvey of Paxton, Ma, her son James Pappas of Boylston, Ma, her son David Pappas of Boynton Beach, and her loving sister Carol Grant of Osterville, Ma. Virginia leaves 6 grandchildren, Jason Kruse of Florida, Jillian LaChapelle of Northbridge, Courtney Hastings of Worcester, Nicholas Pappas of Boylston, Andrew Pappas of Boylston and Jennifer Pappas of Worcester, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and cousins.


Virginia grew up in Worcester, Ma and worked for many years at John Hancock and Peoples Bank. She was always involved with her children's school and was president of the PTA. Virginia loved to entertain and enjoyed making people happy She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. She was a wonderful Italian cook and would cook or bake anything for anyone.Virginia loved being with her family. Virginia spent a lot of her years traveling around the world with her husband. She was a wonderful woman, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
