Dear Susan, Brooke, Blossom , Dr. Mark and Shelley,
I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Adam. There are no words that I can say to ease the sorrow. I pray that the arms of Christ would surround you and bring peace to all of you in this difficult season of your lives..

Deepest sympathies.
I did not know Adam, but I was moved by his obituary and, though far too short, his remarkable life.
May God bless you all.

So sorry to read about the passing of your loved one. May the wonderful memories you shared help to ease the pain in your hearts, and may the promise from God at 1 Corinthians 15:26 help to do the same.

I'm so sorry to learn of Adam's passing. He was always such a positive presence and a devoted father. He is and will always be one of my role models for fatherhood and parenting daughters. All my love and support to his girls and family.

I am writing to offer my deepest sympathies to Adam's family and love ones. I am so sad that we lost such a bright light at such an early age. I will always remember all of the great times we had together at Duke. He was incredibly intelligent, funny, and caring. He was a great friend and mentor to me. May he rest in peace.
With love,
Cleve Burke

We are so sad about Adam's passing. We had the privilege over the past couple of years to meet him and to get to know him. There is no doubt that he was a great father to his three daughters and that he loved his kids dearly. We also know he loved Ana and that he will be missed by all.
We last saw Adam about ten days ago. We had the chance to talk about one of his favorite topics -- Vanderbilt football-- and how happy he was that Vandy recently defeated the Georgia Bulldogs.
We express our condolences to the entire family.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Adam's passing. He was such a vital, passionate young man - a lover of learning, nature, and most of all, his daughters. This is a quote from his Facebook page, written just last week: "Went to Trolls with my daughters. So enjoyed watching my second born define the term "edge of her seat". Held Ana's hand. It was really lovely. That's my America. That's what is important to me. Same as it was this time last week. And same as it would have been had the result been different. I suspect the bursting love I feel watching my children grow up with someone dumb enough to love me is immutable to politics. And for that I'm so glad and thankful." Requiescat in pace, dear Adam.

I am so sorry to hear about Adam's passing. I was lucky to know him at Duke and UC Hastings and he was kind, funny, and so genuine. My thoughts and prayers are with his girls and his family. I will hold my Daughter tighter tonight and will always remember what a blessing it was to be in Adam's presence...

Dear Blossom, Susan, Brooke,
I am so so grieved by your loss.
A fine, wonderful young man that you had the honor to have loved.
Those three little girls have been blessed to have had a dad with his intelligence, his sense of humor, his kindness, his love of family, and his complete devotion to them. He was beautiful inside and out.
My deepest condolences are with you.
Love, Cheryl Baird
