Bobby E. Rager

Gallatin, TN

Age 79, passed away January 14, 2016.

Survived by his wife of 42 years, Wink Rager; son, Scott Rager (Dorothy); daughter, Sherri Rager; grandchildren, Bradley Rager (Jessica), Becca Tvaroch (Anthony), Derrick Stotts, Jenna Stotts, Izzy Rager, Jake Stotts, and Sara Dunn; brother, Jimmy Rager (Nancy); sisters, Brenda Davis and Virginia Gleaves (Smiley); 3 great-grandchildren.

He served his country in the Air National Guard. Bobby was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 240, the VFW Post 9851, GWRRA, and the Bluegrass Country Club.

He was the Past President of Real Estate Investors of Nashville and served on the Board of Directors for Hope and Healing at Hillenglade.

Bobby was a member of the Al Menah Flying Fezzes and rode in the Al Menah Motor Corps Heavyweight Division.

Visitation at Phillips-Robinson Hadley Chapel Sunday from 2-8pm with the Masonic Service at 7pm, and Monday from 12pm until the time of service at 2pm, Pastor Tom Holt officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 1pm at Middle-TN State Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Hope and Healing at Hillenglade, www.hillenglade.org.

So sorry to learn the loss of Bobby...We go a long way back and was a good neighbor and a good brother. We just saw Wink at another funeral just after Christmas....So sorry for the loss as I know he will be missed by everyone. Wink and family we are thinking of you and the family...

Sending my condolences to the family of Bobby E. Rager. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a friend to so many veterans and was involved with various projects to assist veterans in the community. He will be missed, especially his smile and great sense of humor. RIP Bobby!!! Dorothy, one of his veteran friends in VVA, Chapter 240.
