I worked with Speedy on C-2100 from 1971 until 1973. I met her daughters at Mack's on Division Street here in Nashville, TN. Connie instilled in me the will to learn more about our profession and helped me get admitted to Nursing School at The University of Tennessee. I owe her a great life debt and am happy that the world was a better place with her in it. All of us who were associated with Connie (we respectfully called her Speedy on C-2100) are better for the contact and the love for the profession that she showed on a daily basis. I would like to extend an invitation to her daughter, Connie, to get in touch by my email below.

Loved Connie and Alfy all because one day my father received a Canadian coin in his change at Mack's, which her daughter Connie owned. This led me to spend a summer with Connie and Alfy at Stanhope after my freshman year at Wellesley. Sorry to learn that she and Alfy are no longer with us. It was a great summer even though I never found Gilbert Blythe. he must have been hiding. love to all who knew Connie. She was an incredible woman who I'll never forget. Sorry I lost touch. LWSP
