Edward Isibor Obituary
Brentwood, TN
Dr. Isibor passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 . Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Agnes Isibor, brother Vincent Isibor and sister Edith Usenbor. He is survived by his son Ekinadose Isibor, daughter Emwanta (Joseph) Wood, Edwina Smith mother of his children, grandaughters Imani and Gabriella Cruz. Edward received his B.S. from Howard University, M.S. from M.I.T. and PhD. from Purdue University. He taught as Professor of Engineering at Cleveland State University and Florida International University for years. He served as Dean of Engineering at TSU and professor for several years before his retirement. Visit., Fri. Dec. 16 from 4-7PM at the First Apostolic Church, 265 Broadmoor Dr. Nashville, TN with services at 7PM. Interment will be private.

Emwanta (Joe), Eki and Family,
We are so saddened to hear of your loss. Dr. Isibor was the main force in our lives during our time at Tennessee State University. He was an amazing person, educator, and the reason so many of us are in the engineering field today; and we honor him & his memory. I fondly remember how he often referred to the young ladies under his care as his 3-B's Brainy, Black & Beautiful. May you be blessed with the love of God during your time of sorrow.
