Geneva Apple Obituary

APPLE, Mrs. Geneva Myrell Mitchell Jump Age 93, passed on August 16, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, George and Mary Belle Mitchell; widower of Johnny Jump in 1966; widower of James R. Apple in 1992; sister, Georgia D. Petty in 2009; and brother, Clifford Forrest Mitchell in 1968. Surviving sister, Ida Belle McKenzie of North Carolina; daughter, Bonnie Jump Coplin; son-in-law, Tom Coplin; granddaughter, Kelly Lynn (John) Brownlee; great-grandson, Aaron Brownlee; many nieces, nephews and friends. Service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rusty Trotter officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers Steve Petty, Conrad Jones, Phil Perry and Mitchell Petty. Honorary Pallbearers John McKenzie and Clifford Mitchell, Jr. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Alive Hospice of Nashville, Inc., 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to service. WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, (615) 794-2289.

I met Koko only 3 years ago and we hit it off immediately. What a beautiful, fun loving, special lady she was. I enjoyed her company so much! She will be so missed by all those who knew and loved her. My heart goes to you, Bonnie & Tom, and all your family.
