Dear Wall Family,
I just found out today (July 4,2019) from our mutual friend Kenneth Caldwell what happened to Jim. I am so sorry that this has happened and rather shocked to think of him no longer being in this world.
He was easily one of the most jovial of my BGA classmates and I want to take this time to salute the hospitality that he, his mother Sara and late father James always showed me when I'd visit. I know I wasn't the most conventional (or easiest) person but they were always so friendly to me when I'd visit.
I lost my own father four years ago and I know that life will not be the same as before (and I know that mourning is by NO means finished a mere two months after the loss of a loved one). All I can do is pray that you all will each one day think of all the happiest memories of Jim and that THOSE memories can help give each of you strength to cope with what has happened.
I didn't know him as well in the latter years and only had fleeting times of meeting Courtnay and their daughters Chloe and Ann (though I will never forget what a fantastic wedding he and Courtnay had with all their loved ones surrounding them). However; I believe he'd want you to be the make the most of your lives as much as you are able and that that would be the legacy he'd be most proud of as the years go by! Please take care of each other as best as possible and Be With God,
Sincerely,
Leon A. Helguera

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. As time passes may you find peace in the memories you share, and comfort from the hope that God is close to the broken-hearted.
