I send my heartfelt sympathy to John Pamplin, John, Jr's son, and to Chris and Bill Pamplin, his brothers, as well as his wife. I know he will be missed a lot by all of you.
I have known John since the late 70's. I knew him when he and Johnny Farrar were running the Athlete's Foot out in Green Hills. He was so full of life and love and fun. I always enjoyed the time I spent in his company. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing - words just can't say how sad this makes me. God speed, John! You will be missed by many. Someone called you a class act, and that is exactly what you were.
