Zachary Draughon Obituary
Nashville, TN
Zachary Draughon, age 25 of Nashville, TN, passed away, Saturday, March 1, 2014.
Zachary was born December 17, 1988 in Jackson, Mississippi, son of Randy and Renee Draughon.
Zachary was loved with a fierce love by his family and his God. He was a member of Midtown Fellowship Church and a deeply treasured son, brother, and friend to many in his community. Zach's church family grieves alongside the Draughon family-heartbroken, but trusting in the secure and finished work of Christ for Zach's salvation as they do for their own.
Zachary is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ed Watkins and Bill Draughon.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Trenton Draughon (Sara Fisher); sister, Maggie Draughon; grandmothers, Connie Watkins and Mable Jo Draughon; great-grandmother, Artie Barnett; numerous unlces; aunts; and cousins; girlfriend, Abby Anderson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon Thursday, March 6, 2014 from Rocketown, 601 4th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37203 with the Reverends, Joel Walker, Dave Burden and Russ Ramsey officiating. Interment will immediately follow from Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends five o'clock in the evening until eight Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, and one hour prior to service time at Rocketown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions made to Midtown Fellowship Church Benevolence.

We enjoyed getting to know Zach while he was a part of our team this fall at Collegiate Sports Data. All here were saddened by the news of his passing and are thinking of Zach's friends and family during this difficult time.

I will always count it an honor to have known Zach. I loved that twinkle in his eye and the tender heart that he had. He loved his friends deeply. I cannot imagine the hole that his passing will leave in so many lives. My heart goes out to you, Renee and Randy and your children. May the Lord be near to the brokenhearted and bring you all the comfort that only He can give. I am so very sorry and will keep you in my prayers.

I worked with Zach at ServiceSource. I felt compelled to write and say he was an absolute pleasure to work with each and every day. Though I only knew him for a short time I am so happy I got the chance to get to know him. He shared with me on several occasions how close he was with his family, and how much they meant to him.

I worked with Zach for a few months at AAC. I was appointed to work closely with him as a mentor and we spoke regularly. He was a good person and serious about the work he was doing. Prayers with his family.

Mr. and Mrs. Draughon,
I was part of the leadership that hired Zach at American Addiction Centers. He worked on the night shift for us, and I tried to mentor him, as he grew in helping others. I have not been with the company since last June, so I was not in touch with Zach, but he always gave his best under me, and he had a tremendous attitude. Glad to hear that he had trusted Christ. I'm so sorry for your loss, and will be praying for you.

Zach I hope you march proudly through those pearly gates and take your seat by our LORD.
