From a neighbor of Warren's at a 2024 class reunion I just learned of Warrens passing. Warren was a friend from Gridley High School. Now the rest of the story.
My sister and Warren dated while she was in college in the early 1960's. Both married other friends and raised families. In 2014 Myrna Lee and Warren met up again at her mother's 98th birthday party, and they began dating again after over 50 years. They were married December 6, 2014. She was a loving person, devoted wife, mother and friend, always thinking of others first. She would always greet you with a big smile and hug. She will be missed. Passed: Aug 8, 2018.
Myrna Lee is survived by her husband, Warren Riley; two Children, Eric (Gina) Campbell, Kileen (Shane) Alvidrez; eight grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; step-children: Lisa (John) Rosecrantz, Julie (Aaron) Adelman, Tim (MaryAnn) Riley, and seven step-grandchildren; siblings: Lorry (Bev) Dunning, Janice (Wilbur) Reil.
Myrna Lee and Warren are now together again, at peace with the Lord in Heaven.

I am so very sorry with the loss of Warren. When we came down to Cali he was so very nice to me, so pleasant and so kind. The last time I saw him was at Myrna lee´s service. We stopped by the hospital on our way to the airport. I loved that he still called to check on us, see how we were and just to catch up and talk model T´s. I am truly grateful we met. His kindness will be remembered and his openness to share his home with us. I´m so sorry this message wasn´t sooner... I just found out today...blessings in heaven sweet Warren. Love, Eric and Gina Campbell and family

I served with Warren on the Live Oak School District Board of Trustees for a number of years. I always enjoyed his warm and friendly demeanor and of course his smile and twinkle in his eyes. He truly was a gentleman!
May he rest in peace.

To the family of Warren Riley. I knew your wonderful father through the Yuba City Moose Lodge and never met a finer gentleman. I know your memories of him will help you at this difficult time. My sincerest sympathy!
