Coach Colbert was an amazing man, he never looked at color. He always treated anyone with respect and he sure taught me a lot when I went to UPC HE ALWAYS went above and beyond to help anyone!!! Have I given anything today?
Have I helped some needed soul on the way. Just to know I've done my best as I go to take my rest. Then my name will be with the blessed today.

To the Colbert Family:
Words cannot express how much I admired and respected Coach Colbert. He was such a faithful and gentle man, who wouldn't hesitate to help another individual. He was one of the best teachers and coaches at PCC. I will always have fond memories of him with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Drivers Ed, Basketball and Homecoming Courts (where he would fill in as an escort if any of the girls fathers could not make it). Thank you!
Family, find peace and comfort knowing he was a great man of faith and his wonderful memories will forever live within all of our hearts. Thank you for sharing him with all of us.
He's applauded for the rest, encouraged everyone else, and for his faithfulness, it's his time. A job well done! Rest on Coach Colbert. No pain and sorrow exists in your new mansion. You will be missed greatly.
