Joseph Wilson "Joe" Deselle II

Joseph "Joe" Wilson Deselle, II passed away peacefully with his mother by his side at Our Lady of the Lake on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the age of 49. He was a sound engineer with Cajon Outboards, resident of Addis and native of Plaquemine, LA. A memorial service will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 5 to 7pm. Joe is survived by his mother, Leslie Mott; father, Joseph Wilson Deselle and wife Martha; brother, Thomas Deselle and wife Michelle; sister, Katie Nelson and husband Mark; stepsister, Yvonn Allen and husband Steve; stepbrother, Randy Simmons and wife Maria; nephew, Devin James Deselle; aunts and uncles, Thomas Mott and wife Linda, Lynn Jones, Catherine Spencer, Macie Kemp, Faye Jones, Tina Jones and Sullivan Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Annie Mae and Leslie Mott, Mildred and Hubert Jones, and Thomas James Deselle; aunt, Myrtle Mott; and nephew, Aaron Allen. Joe had a big and kind heart; he was a very generous person. He was a hard worker and spent most of his time doing just that. Joe loved his family, especially his extended family.
