My condolences to Skipper's family. I first met him in the early 70's and always enjoyed conversations with him at family gatherings. I later learned of his athletic abilities as I looked in my Redemptorist High School yearbook where it listed various track and field records. He set records in low hurdles and the long jump in '63 which held for many years. Now he's happily reunited with daughter Yancy in heaven. God Bless.
