Odell Joseph "Bones" "Dee" Cooper

Odell "Bones" "Dee" Joseph Cooper was born on March 19, 1969. He departed at the age of 54 years old. He was a native of St. James, and a resident of Laplace, LA. He was the oldest of four children to Annie Bell Cooper-Williams, the late James Henry, Sr., and late Stepfather Percy Williams, Sr. He was nurtured by grandparents Hester Miller Cooper and Joseph Cooper, Sr. After their departure, Odell was reared by his adoptive moms Florida Cooper Chatman and Rita Mae Cooper. After the marriage of his aunt Florida, as a child, Odell was then cared for by his aunt Rita Cooper. Odell leaves to cherish and celebrate life to his wife Latoya Turner; mother(s) Annie Bell Cooper-Williams, New Orleans, LA, Florida Cooper Chatman, Donaldsonville, LA, Rita M. Cooper, St. James, LA; daughter Devinee LaChae Williams and three grandchildren Kassidy Thompson, Camden Williams, Kendall Rose Thompson, Broken Arrow, OK; three brothers, Kevin Cooper, Sr. (Leslie) Slidell, LA, James Cooper (Kandie) Canton, GA, Percy Williams, Jr., Metairie, LA, and sister Tonja Chatman Bell, Donaldsonville, LA, mother-in-law Julie Harvey, New Orleans, LA, brother-in-law Alvin Harvey and Pharrell Davis, New Orleans, LA, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visiting 4-7 pm, Friday, January 26, 2024 at Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville. Visitation continues 9 am, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Mt.
