Patrick Rice Obituary

Mr. Patrick "Pat" Hugh Rice, III, beloved husband of the late Patricia Manley Rice, entered into rest on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Westover Memorial Park.

Pat was one of two children born in Augusta to Patrick Rice Jr. and Mary Andrews Rice. He attended Boys Catholic High School before going to Georgia Tech, where he earned a bachelor's degree in industrial management. He served his country for four years as a lieutenant in the United States Navy. A faithful Catholic, he was a former parishioner at St Mary on the Hill, before moving to Atlanta and becoming a founding member of St Jude parish of Sandy Springs. He retired as a banker from Bank of America.

He's survived by his children, Elizabeth "Liz" Rice, Theresa "Tam" Williams and Matt Rice (Jill) and his grandchildren, Charlotte Heslin, Sam Heslin, Kiley Heslin, Casey Heslin, Connor Williams, Baxter Williams (Tara), Patrick Rice and Cameron Cambas (Collin). He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Mary, and his sister, Philomena "Mimi" Kelley.
