Proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and trainsmen at CSX. Born and raised in Baltimore to the late Ronald Jourdain (Indian Ronnie) and the late Gertie Thomas (Prater), stepson of Raymond Thomas; beloved father of Alison Rodgers (Jourdain) and husband Billy Rodgers of Parkville, MD, Heather Stromberg (Jourdain) and husband Keith Stromberg of Abbottstown, PA; beloved and proud grandfather of Raiden Stromberg, Stanley Rodgers IV, Sadie Rodgers, Whitnni Stromberg, and grandpups Bentley Alan & the late Ammo Raisin; little brother and best friend of Melvin Nicholas Jourdain and wife Barbara Jourdain of Glen Burnie, sister of Brenda Perry and husband Brad Perry of Pasadena, brother of Bradley Thomas and wife Charmaine Thomas of Lewes, DE, and sisters Rhonda Jourdain, Dawn Jourdain, Robin Jourdain, and the late Dreama Jourdain; uncle of Brandon Perry and Brittany Foster; ex-husband of Deborah Roe-Jourdain of Taneytown, stepfather of Brian Wright, and step grandfather of Zachary Wright of Dundalk; beloved friend and confidant of many. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. Alvin will never be forgotten and will be missed by all that had the opportunity and privilege of knowing him.
