Glenn Nash Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn Wilson Nash, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and esteemed community pharmacist, on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025. Born on Friday, May 4th, 1945, in Trenton, New Jersey, Glenn spent the majority of his life in Pasadena, Maryland, where he became a cornerstone of the community. Glenn dedicated over 50 years to his profession, serving as a community pharmacist at various locations. He was especially proud of owning and operating Colonial Apothecary on Mountain Road in Pasadena, where he personally took care of his neighbors and friends, always with a warm smile and a helpful hand. Beyond his professional life, Glenn was a man of many passions. In his younger years, he could often be found scuba diving, immersing himself in the wonders beneath the waves. He was an avid crabber and fisherman who cherished the serenity of Maryland's waters. Glenn also had a zest for travel, exploring new places and cultures whenever he could. He was a devoted family man and is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Nash and children: Amy Twigg, Jeffrey Nash, Tracy Kemmer, Bryan Sponheimer, and Michelle Balsarick. Glenn was also a cherished brother to Lee Nash. His legacy continues through 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren who will all miss his warmth, wisdom, and infectious laughter. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth B. Nash and Virginia H. Crowell. Their values and love shaped him into the compassionate and generous man he was. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation services, which will be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Saturday, January 25th, 2025. An afternoon visitation will take place from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by an evening visitation from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Glenn's memory to the American Heart Association by clicking HERE or the American Diabetes Association by clicking HERE. These organizations held special significance to Glenn and reflect his lifelong commitment to health and wellbeing. Glenn's kindness, generosity, and genuine spirit touched many, and he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. As we say farewell, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on in the hearts and lives of those he loved.
