Knellar Andrew Theophilus Gumbs
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we regret to announce the passing of Knellar Andrew Theophilus Gumbs, who died on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in Maryland at the age of 70.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victoria Stevens and Melvin Gumbs. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Patricia Nathan and Blondell Gumbs.
He is survived by his wife Eugenia B. Gumbs, his children Kasim, Kahleb and Kayla Gumbs, grandchildren Kamilia, Kahleel, Kahleí and Kahlani Gumbs; daughter-in-law Shavonne M. Gumbs, brothers-in-law John, Valdemar Candido Jr., Paul, Mark and Lloyd Petersen, sisters-in-law Jo-Anne Petersen Donovan, Gwendolyn Petersen, Verna Petersen Francis, Cheryl Petersen Humphries (deceased) and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
To honor his wishes, a private funeral and celebration of life was held by his immediate family. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Beall Funeral Home.
