Norma Smith Obituary

Norma Lee Smith, 82, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Complete Care in Severna Park. Mrs. Smith was born December 22, 1941 in Maryland to the late Frank and Irene Heck. She worked as a Custodian for the Board of Education for 40 years until her retirement. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening and taking care of her lawn. She was quick witted with a good sense of humor. She loved to make people laugh. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Richard Smith, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Richard W. Smith, Jr. and his wife Pamela and Jody Smith; grandchildren, Brandy Biddle and her partner Shane Lane and Rachel Hill and her husband Justin Hill; great grandchildren, Skyler Lane, Kaylie Biddle, Bella Biddle, Josie Hill, Paislee Hill and great great grandson, Jaxson Lane. Friends and family may visit Sunday, September 1st from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held at 8:00 pm. Interment is private.
