Richard Wilkins Obituary

Richard Walter Wilkins, 88 years old, of Baltimore, MD passed away on September 9, 2024, surrounded by his family after a prolonged illness.

Richard was born on October 31, 1935, to J. Richard Wilkins and Lorena N Lynott Wilkins in Baltimore, MD.

Richard married Joan M. Strozykowski on August 12,1961 at Immaculate Conception Church, Elkton, MD. Richard and Joan had eight children.

Richard's primary employment was as an electrician. After retirement, he moved to Laramie, WY. He recently returned to the Baltimore, MD area.

Richard was predeceased by his wife Joan M. Wilkins, mother Lorena N. Wilkins, his father J. Richard Wilkins, his brothers Paul L. Wilkins, and Thomas J. Wilkins. He is survived by his children John Richard, Mary Katherine, Paula Marie, Stephanie Marie, Teres Marie, Anna Marie, Katheleen Marie, and Thomas Lynott Martin, and his fourteen grandchildren.

Services will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6806 McClean Blvd

Baltimore, Maryland 21234, on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 9:00 am. Internment to take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery, 7305 German Hill Road, Dundalk, Maryland 21222, following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Association at: https://www.alz.org/get-involved-now/donate
