Alberta Green Obituary
She celebrated her 100th birthday in May. She was a faithful member of Mt. Gale Missionary Baptist Church and, until her passing, the oldest member of the church family.
She was preceded in death by her devoted niece, "daughter" Marzella Turner; her parents and siblings.
She leaves to mourn her passing two nephews, Marzie Walker and Willie Winston; four nieces, Claudia Cummings, Mary Holliman, Sandra Hollowell and Peggy Bell; "grandchildren," Oscar, Janice and David; and a host of great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Mt. Gale Missionary Baptist Church, #8 W. Brannon Drive, Conway. Visitation, 6-7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 at the funeral home.
Interment, Ray Cemetery.
Services entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway, Arkansas.

I've been trying to get in touch with her for a long time. Lost contact with Alberta and family. She was an angel on Earth! My heart goes out to you all. I loved her dearly as she was like my second mother. So sorry to hear this news. Blessings to you all.

Ms. Alberta will be greatly missed. I helped take care of her sister, Ruby during the last two years of her life, and then I helped Ms. Alberta after that and the last year of her life. I treated her and Ms. Ruby like they were my own family. Ms. Alberta told a lot of stories and she taught me to cook some pretty good food. I'll remember her until the day God takes me too. I love you Ms. Alberta. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family and friends. Sincerely, Naomi Wyllia
