Allan Mota Obituary
Allan Joe Mota, 40, passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 9, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nev., where he resided for the last 15 years.
Allan was born June 11, 1968, in Salinas. He graduated from Alisal High in 1986, after high school he served four years in the Air force. Allan attended Hartnell College and received an AA Degree in 1992. He was a member of the Latino Officers Association. Allan will be missed by all, and we will always remember his great looking smile!
Survivors: Daughters, Sabrina and Gabriella of Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers, Joey (Madeleine) Mota of Salinas, and Michael Mota of San Jose; nephews and family.
He was preceded by his wife, Polly of 10 years; father, Joe Mota; mother Juanita Mota.
Services: Have been held.
Inurnment: Cremation has been held.

Met Allan before he ever started his first day at Circus-Circus. He drove up to the employee garage booth, and wanted to know the best way to get a job in security. We talked for over an hour. I watched him move up, and eventually to Mandalay Bay. I lived in Las Vegas from 1994 until 2018. Met a lot of people, never forgot about Allan.

To Mota Family, deeply sorry to hear about Allan's passing, it came as a shock to us! We worked with Allan both at Mandalay Bay and MGM-Mirage. He had a great sense of humor, full of life and his loved for his girls, Sabrina and Gabriela. Because we are in the same age bracket that we treated him like our younger brother. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to the family especially Sabrina and Gabriela.

Mota Family, I want to send my condolences to your family. I am deeply saddened by the untimely news of Allan's passing. I was only recently informed. I had previously worked with Allan at both Mandalay Resorts and MGM-MIRAGE. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be sorely missed.

Our condolence to the Mota family during their time of mourning. Sorry so late, but we just heard about his passing. I had the priviledged to work for Allan during his time at Mandalay Bay. He will be missed.
