Corazon Aborca Galindo passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2015. She was born July 16, 1940, in Manila, Philippines. She later established her life in Salinas, with her husband Felesiano Galindo and her beloved daughters.

She worked diligently to provide her family a life she always wanted them to have, by working many years at Mervyn's, Thor Electronics, IDT, USPS and Monterey County Juvenile Probation Department.

Corazon was a loving mother and grandmother. She felt joy whenever her family surrounded her. She was a caring, devoted, strong-willed, independent woman with an unwavering faith in God. She contributed her life serving God at local Catholic churches, prayer groups, and serving those in need. She was a prayer warrior. She prayed for her family, friends, and to those who needed guidance. She saw the light in others when others did not. She was a genuine, beautiful person who touched many lives. She will forever be loved and immensely missed by everyone.

Corazon is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Jane Galindo Brandt and Janicelynn Galindo Pedrano; her two sons-in-law, Steven Brandt and Rolly Pedrano, along with her grandchildren, Joshelyn (Brandt) Waite, Jeremy Galindo, Janessa Pedrano, Caryssa Brandt, Jennea Pedrano, Jaedon Pedrano, Makoa Brandt, Noelani Brandt, and Jenyva Pedrano. Also her two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Maia Brandt Waite. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felesiano Y. Galindo.

A special thank you to her friends and family, who continued to support her throughout her life, and continually prayed over her.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 E. Alisal St., Salinas, CA 93901.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 E. Alisal St., Salinas, CA 93901.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at Madonna del Sasso Church, 320 E. Laurel Dr., Salinas, CA 93906.

A Private Burial will be held.
