Linda Banks Obituary

Linda Faye Lineberry Banks, 75 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at her home. Linda was born in Carroll County to the late Wilber Whit and Frances Elizabeth Hawkins Lineberry. Along with her parents Linda is preceded in death by her sisters, Jeanette King, Judy Myers and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Hardy. Linda was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and was a devoted mother and wife. Linda was also a farmer and managed the Banks Farms inc. Linda is survived by her husband, Charlie Ray Banks, her children, Kathy Hagee and husband Gary, Alan Banks and wife Misty, Amy McCraw and husband Chris. Linda is also survived by her ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her siblings, Ray Lineberry, Gaynell Hardy, Delton Lineberry and wife Danielle, Jimmy Lineberry and David Lineberry and wife Cathy. The family would like to give special thanks to Blueridge Home Health, Mountain Valley Hospice and Serena Banks for all of their love and care. Funeral Services were conducted on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel and the Rev. Bobby Webb officiated. A burial followed in the Heath Banks Cemetery. The family received friends on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, from 12 noon until the time of services. A guestbook is available by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Banks family.

Family, there is so much more you could put on Linda's obituary . I also went to Woodlawn High School the same year and her traits followed her on in life. Those are the people that have your fond memories and are never forgotten even if don't see them much . Prayers !
