Brian Bussard Obituary

Brian Bussard, 56, a Chittester Way, Brockway, PA resident, died Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Kittanning Health and Rehab Center.

Born on April 25, 1969, at Natrona Heights, PA, he was the son of the late James Bussard and Mary Jane Miller Bussard, who survives and lives in Brockway.

Brian was always the gentleman. Courteous and polite and always very considerate of others. He would often hold doors open for others who seemed puzzled that someone would do that. He had a fantastic sense of humor which, at times, could be a little "off the wall." It was his sense of humor that carried him through the many stressful, life-threatening situations he endured all too many times.

Due to his father's job, Brian attended many schools in the U.S., graduating from Lamar High School in Rosenberg, TX. Brian was an avid reader of just about anything, but he especially enjoyed reading and collecting comic books with superhero comics being his favorite. He enjoyed comedy shows, especially the Golden Girls, and was a huge fan of horror movies. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a huge animal lover.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by a sister, Kristen (Dimitrie) Atsiknoudas of Stephens City, VA and his fur baby, Polly. He will be missed more than words can ever express by his family and those who were fortunate enough to call him "my friend."

All services for Brian will be private at the convenience of his family. Memorial donations may be made to your local SPCA organization or the charity of donor's choice.
