Dennis Smyers Obituary
He was born November 9, 1955, in DuBois, the son of the late Frank L. and Helen L. (Sostakowski) Smyers.
Dennis is a graduate of DuBois Central Catholic. After high school, he worked as a truck driver, foundry and construction worker for many years. He enjoyed reading, especially on the history of American wars and the military. He loved animals, nature and repairing guns for his family and friends.
He was Catholic by faith.
Dennis leaves behind a sister, Therese Smyers of Soldier, two brothers, Larry (Monica) Smyers of DuBois and Richard (Bonnie) Smyers of Reynoldsville, and two nieces and one nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers in infancy.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
