Glenda Grosch Obituary
A daughter of the late Glen and Frances I. (Lyon) Kunes, she was born on August 2, 1957 in St. Marys, PA. On March 25, 1989 she married Gary Grosch, who survives at home.
Along with her husband, Glenda is survived by: a son, Travis Grosch of Pittsburgh, PA; and five brothers, Burton (Connie) Kunes of Weedville, Clayton (Bonnie) Kunes of Treasure Lake, Tom (Jane) Kunes of Pasadena, MD, Steve (Terry) Kunes of Ridgway and Glen (Kathy) Kunes of St. Marys.
Besides her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by: a brother, Nathan Kunes; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Shirley; and two nieces, DeeDee and Emily.
Glenda attended the Jefferson County-DuBois Area Vocational-Technical School LPN program in 1979. She worked as a Nurse in St. Marys Hospital from 1981-'83, as a Nurse in Maryland for three years, Office Manager for Dr's Alfieri and Babin for 10 years, and as a nurse, privately, doing Insurance Physicals.
Living in Kane since 1989 and most of her life in Bennetts Valley, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kane and past member of Weedville United Methodist Church. She loved to read and play cards.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and also on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Saturday August 13, 2022 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Burns.
The family suggests memorials to the American Lung or Heart Associations and will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.

Dear Gary and the Kunes family, We are so very sorry to hear of Glenda's passing. I worked with Glenda for years and she was in our wedding. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be missed!
