Grace Weber Obituary

Grace A. Weber, 92, of Home Camp, PA died Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Christ the King Manor.

Born on September 10, 1932, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Plum and Annabelle (Pierce) Dunlap.

Grace married Dale Weber. He preceded her in death in February of 1979.

In her early years, Grace worked for the Maple Avenue Hospital as a nurse's aide and then an X-ray technician, jobs she was very proud of. She was involved in the 4H club of DuBois. She later worked for the DuBois School District as a teacher's assistant, and gained notoriety as the best dressed lady in the school. Grace was a devoted member of the Home Camp United Methodist church.

Grace loved to sit on her porch and watch the horses in the pasture and the deer in the fields and planting flowers in her yard. She was very proud of her farm which she worked very hard to keep up throughout the years. Grace welcomed everyone into her home, providing food and a place to stay. She loved to make Sunday dinner, with a kitchen full of her loved ones sitting around the table. Her unconditional love for her family made growing up at Gram Graces the best place to be. Grace was loved by all knew her.

Grace is survived by her daughters (Christine Frantz of DuBois, PA, Tami Curley of Rockton, PA, Tracy Weber-Burkett and her husband Joseph of Reynoldsville, PA and Heidi Speck of Baltimore, MD), 8 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a sister (Etha I. Benner of Pittsburgh, PA).

She was preceded in death by one daughter (Cindy Lee Yount), 3 brothers (Robert, Pat, and Willard Dunlap), and 4 sisters (Adeline DiPillo, Jean Bowersox, June Sturniolo, and Dorthalene Snedden.

A memorial service for the family will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11 am from the Home Camp United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life open house for everyone will be from 12pm to 2 pm. from the church social hall.
