Lisa Barr Obituary
Born in Painesville, Ohio, Jan. 20, 1968, she was a daughter of the late John H. Haines and Myrna R. Engle Haines. Her mother survives and lives in Reynoldsville. On May 29, 1999, she married John P. Barr. He survives and resides in Brookville.
Lisa was a 1986 graduate of DuBois Area High School and a 1994 graduate of Clarion University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She was the former owner/operator of the Dollar Smart and All About A Party, both of DuBois.
Lisa was a member of the Reynoldsville Presbyterian Church.
She is also survived by two brothers, Bradley J. (Janet) Haines of DuBois and Lon R. (Kelly) Haines of Reynoldsville; and her maternal grandmother, Ruth Engle of Brookville.
She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herbert and Helen Burtop Haines and maternal grandfather, Robert Engle.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at the funeral home with the Rev. Steven J. Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery, Reynoldsville.
Memorial donations may be made to the Reynoldsville Presbyterian Church, Seventh and Main Streets, Reynoldsville, PA 15851 or Penn Highlands Hospice, PO Box 447, DuBois, PA 15801.

I remember flying home out of Pittsburg many years ago and somehow, she remembered me from many many years ago when I was good friends with her Father John. She told me on the plane that her father had passed recently and we cried and we laughed. I am so sorry to hear about Lisa's passing. She was much too young to leave this world! My prayers for her and her family.
