Sara F. Raybuck

1926 - 2025

Sara F. Raybuck, 98, an Airport Road, Reynoldsville, PA resident (Beechwoods), died on Monday, August 11, 2025, at her residence.

Born on December 20, 1926, in Allens Mills, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Corbin Miller.

On June 16, 1950, she was married to Harold F. Raybuck and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2015.

Retired, Sara had been employed at Sylvania prior to her marriage, and afterwards she became the bookkeeper for Raybuck Builders, a construction company owned by her husband. She was a member of the Allen Mills Methodist Church. Sara was an avid bowler and enjoyed when canning season would roll around. Family parties and picnics also brought her great joy. She also loved to cheer on the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Steelers. She also enjoyed building jigsaw puzzles and working on word search games. Sara also never missed an opportunity to play dominoes with her grandson, Ryan.

She is survived by a son, Harry (Mary Ann) Raybuck, also of Beechwoods, and two grandsons, Eric and Ryan Raybuck. She is also survived by her lifelong neighbor and cousin, Bill (Mary Ann) McClelland.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Samuel Raybuck; two sisters, Doris Doane and Mae Shaffer; and three brothers: Harold, Pete and Herbert Miller.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 19 from 2-3 p.m. at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m., with Pastor Joni Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Beechwoods Cemetery.
