Justin Heyes Obituary

Justin L. Heyes, 35, of New Castle, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Indianapolis. He was born October 10, 1989, in New Bedford, MA. Justin was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Taylor Construction.

Justin is survived by wife Breanna (Stephens) Heyes, whom he married March 8, 2025, son Aiden Smith, mother Lisa Knickerbocker, siblings: Bradley Heyes, Jr., Brent (Jasmin Silva) Lagoa, Liberty (Rod Cabral) Heyes, Steven Tavares, Krystian Tavares, Demetrius Heyes, Aryah Heyes; grandfather Kenneth (Sandra) Knickerbocker, nieces Julianna Lagoa, Kameri Lagoa, Charley Lagoa and nephew Brent Lagoa, Jr., uncles Kenny and Scott Knickerbocker, mother-in-law and father-in-law Angela and Owen Wyant, close friends Tim Hammons and Ben Daniels.

A celebration of Justin's life will take place at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad Street New Castle, IN 47362. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Breanna Heyes c/o Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad Street New Castle, IN 47362. Online condolences may be shared at www.rosecity funerals.com.
