Louise and Larry.... I was so sad to hear of your loss. As a parent we shouldn´t have to see a child go before us. May God be with you and comfort you at this difficult time.
Sincerely Connie Moore Julson

Just this morning pull up the obituaries, as usual, to make sure my own name wasn´t on the list anywhere.
My heart sunk to find that Larry has passed. We knew each other as kids growing up in Foursquare church.
The whole Cox family..always, ALWAYS friendly.
From my earliest childhood recollections, the first thing that always popped into mind whenever I´d think of Larry, or cross paths with him, were evenings at the Gibson skating arena probably 40 years ago now.
Larry and Steph were the absolute fastest two kids on roller skates I´d ever seen.
Seriously, if anyone else was gonna have half a chance at winning any of the skating competitions, it was gonna be because Larry and Steph sat out a race or two. Good times!
I dropped into Foursquare for a visit a few years ago, and leave it to Larry Cox´s built-in radar, he somehow found me in that crowd and ask me if I had planned on staying for the luncheon at the Flower House.
Regardless of the lengths of time that went by between our crossing paths, Larry seemed to always have a way of just picking the conversation up right where we left off.
My memories of the
Larry and Steph skate duo at Gibson arena always kinda kept an itch alive in me to want to skate as good as them.
But me and roller skates always kinda had a love/hate relationship.. mostly because the floor wouldn´t hold still and so I spent more time underneath my skates than they did underneath me.
I´ll be 58 years old this December, and I´ve probably got absolutely no business slipping back into another pair of skates by now.
But if I do, Larry, ol´ buddy.. I´ll tell ya all about it when I see you again.
