John Sagrati Obituary
Kennett Square, PA - John V. Sagrati, Sr., 83, of Kennett Square, PA & formerly of Vineland, NJ passed away at home where he had been under the care of family & hospice. John was born & raised in Vineland and was a longtime resident of Doylestown, PA prior to returning to Vineland in 2007 and eventually to Kennett Square in December 2020. He was the son of the late Antoinette (Gallina) & Victor Sagrati. He was also pre deceased by his brother Vic Sagrati in 2015.
John served in the U.S. Army & the N.J. National Guard from 1959-1965. Before retiring John was employed as a machinist at Ametek U.S. Gauge in Sellersville, PA. He was a member & Past Commander of Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post #4, Vineland, NJ. John was an avid golfer and also enjoyed flounder fishing along the Jersey shore.
He is survived by his son & daughter in-law; John V. Sagrati, Jr. & wife Kim, 2 grandsons; John V. Sagrati, III & his wife Lauren, and Nick Sagrati, 3 step-daughters; Nancy Panzino, Barbara Gramp, and Linda Cohn, Niece; Ann Sagrati and Stephanie Reska.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at12:00 pm on Sunday July 18th at Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ . Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Siloam Cemetery, 550 N. Valley Ave., Vineland, NJ. For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to Bayada Hospice, 1400 N. Providence Rd. Suite 200, Media, PA 19063.
