Cedarville - Steven B. Brooks, 67, of Cedarville died on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland following a brief illness.

Born in Maple Shade to the late Alfred Brooks and Claire Herber Brooks, he was a resident of Cedarville since 1973. Prior to that he had lived in the Maple Shade area.

Steven had been employed at Clement Pappas in Seabrook in the Maintenance Department for over 35 years. He was an avid reader and loved the Harry Potter Series. Steven also enjoyed video games and had been playing them since the golden age of Atari. He could be found spending time at home with his grandchildren. Steven especially cherished his trips to Walt Disney World with his family. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR racing and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Brooks of Cedarville; three grandchildren, Daniel Wootten, Jr. and his wife, Janice of Millville, Justin Peachey of DE and Tyler Peachey of Cedarville and many friends and neighborhood kids who affectionately referred to him as Pop. He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Jay Wootten.

A memorial service will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Monday evening, November 19th at 7 PM.
