Hugh L. Clark

Born: May 16, 1948 | Died: August 5, 2025

Hugh L. Clark entered this life on May 16, 1948, and departed for his new life August 5, 2025.

Hugh was born in Greenback, TN to David and Helen (Caincross) Clark.

Hugh retired from Y-12 in Oak Ridge. He enjoyed working in his yard, MOPAR cars, NASCAR and the Tennessee Volunteers and Pride of the Southland Marching Band; he especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. He was devoted to his family and so proud of his children and grandchildren. He also loved his Papillion, Leota.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of 30 years; daughters; Kelly Clark, Amy (Shane) Hayes-Merritt and Rebecca (Mike) Hayes-Bledsoe. Grandchildren, Lance Crockett, Caylor Keith, and Tyler, Parker, and Jace Bledsoe and a great-grandson, Titus Keith. He is survived by siblings, Herman Clark, Frieda Gibby, and Annetta Smith. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Junior Clark and sister, Reba Potter.

A special thanks to the Riverside Drive "family" for their support and love through the years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 5 at 3:00 p.m. at Franklin Pavilion Maryville, TN. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Children's Hospital, Knoxville, TN or Young-Williams Animal Center in Knoxville, TN. www.mccammonammonsclick.com 865-982-6812
