Kathleen and Harold LaTour

Dear Joan, I don't follow the obituaries very often, but I just saw that Alex has passed. Harold and I send our heartfelt condolences to you. I hope you are still doing okay. I know your eyesight was a problem for you. I hope you can manage. Harold is now on dialysis 3 times a week. We are doing well in Florida in an over 55 community. We have a mobile home, and we have no outside work at all. There are lots of amenities and entertainment here. Again, Alex was such a wonderful man. We enjoyed having you both as friends.

Every time Randy & I walk in our yard, we remember your father for all the help he gave us on our arrival when we moved here. He helped so much with the big jobs just leaving us with a little "hand work". I have missed seeing Alex on is spring wanderings searching for those "dad gum" peafowl as they choose a nesting spot. Hearing the spring calls of his peacocks was one of the highlights of living here. I wish we could all go back to those years! I am so very sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing it is a loss shared by many.
