Brian Scott "Snakespirit" Quidgeon

Plainfield – Brian Scott Quidgeon, "Snakespirit," 44, passed away unexpectedly June 22, 2025, at home. He was born April 22, 1981, in Bradenton, Fla., to his parents, Joseph Sr. and Deborah (Roush) Quidgeon.

Brian graduated from NFA in 1999.

He is survived by his wife Danielle (Riley); his daughters, Taylor and Brooklynn Quidgeon; as well as his bonus children, Molly and Matthew (Williams). He married his wife in Las Vegas Feb. 7, 2022. He worked in hotel engineering, finance, car sales and data entry, to name a few. He grew up playing baseball in Florida, and loved his New York Yankees.

Brian moved with his mom July 3, 1996, to New London County to join his dad and brother Matthew who were here working on Mohegan Sun Property prior to opening.

Brian was a proud member of the Mohegan Tribe.

Brian played native flute, producing a CD, "Into the East," and was starting to put together a second. Brian entertained at native pow-wows playing his flute and drum. Brian took pride in sharing his culture with friends and loved ones.

He is survived by his siblings, Terri Allen and Jospeh Quidgeon Jr.; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Matthew Quidgeon.
