Carol Ferullo Obituary

Niantic- Carol Arloro Ferullo, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members Feb. 28, 2025, at her home. She was born in Everett, Mass., Aug. 13, 1940, the daughter of Nicholas and Anna Moreschi Arloro. She married John Anthony Ferullo Nov. 4, 1961, in Everett, Mass.

Mrs. Ferullo worked for Sears and Roebuck before transitioning into a full-time homemaker. She worked hard raising four kids, shuttling them to practices, games and competitions.

Carol enjoyed spending summers in Wolfeboro, N.H., where the family shared a cottage with her sister-in-law Madeline and brother-in-law Vinny. The family would spend their summers boating, going on small hikes and hanging out on the porch with family and friends, often playing games well into the evening. Carol was a fantastic cook. Her family looked forward to her meatballs and gravy every Sunday and pizza chiena on Easter. Mrs. Ferullo was also an avid crocheter, knitting afghans for family and friends throughout her life.

Carol is predeceased by her husband John; and her brother Nick Arloro. She is survived by her three sons and a daughter: John Ferullo and his wife Laurie of East Lyme, Robert Ferullo and his wife Jo Anne of Boston, Mass., Thomas Ferullo of Niantic, and Christina Ferullo of Lafayette, Colo. She is also survived by her grandson Tony Ferullo and his wife Samantha of Old Lyme; and great-granddaughters, Olivia and Nora.

A Celebration of Carol's Life will be conducted at a later date. The Thomas L. Neilan and Sons Funeral Home of Niantic has been entrusted with arrangements. Donations in Carol's memory can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. https://give.themmrf.org/CarolFerullo.
