Dalton Sobiech Obituary
Mr. Sobiech was born on July 22, 1969, in New London, the son of Zigfred Sobiech Jr. and Joyce Sobiech Clark. He graduated from East Lyme High School, then from Technical Careers Institute of West Haven as a combination welder, and from the Florida Dept. of Education as a plumber. He was a licensed welder in Connecticut. He was currently employed by Tucker Mechanical in Meridan. He had been a member for many years of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 777 in Meriden.
Mr. Sobiech enjoyed BMX bike riding competition when he was young and dirt bike riding as an adult. He loved to fish and hunt. Dalton was a kindhearted person who enjoyed helping people. He was a good father and son who will be missed and always remembered.
Mr. Sobiech is survived by his three children, Dalton C. Sobiech of Niantic, Mariah M. Sobiech of Waterford, and Brianna N. Sobiech of Niantic; his mother, Joyce Clark of Niantic; brother, David S. Sobiech of Niantic; and sister, Debbie Jimenez of Westbrook.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, in St. Agnes Church, Niantic. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Niantic. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 9, 2013, in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic, CT 06357.

On October 4th Dalton (My brother) I was informed that you had passed. ...Suddenly Great Sadness rushed through me...I couldn't believe you were gone. I wanted to hate the world...But instead I came together with GOD....Because of God, Dalton I'm healing, from my loss, You were a Great Brother ...God Bless your soul, But always......... You my Brother will be sadly missed BUT Never FORGOTTEN..........................................I then took a plane from South Carolina..so I could say good bye, Dalton I was over whelmed, with the People, Family, and friends that came to say good by...It was a Blessing from God, and it gave us all, a peace of mind ..thank you God......so with said I (your brother) have to say Good bye............... So sad to see Dalton tonight but knowing he is in gods hands know he will be OK. I remember he always had a smile on his face and a kind word. Will miss seeing that smile. RIP Dalton and watch out for your family & help them through their grief.

Another loss way too young! I'm so sorry for all that your family is going through! Dalton looks as though he lived life to the fullest. He will always be with you, watching over his children and his family. Sorry to hear. Although I haven't seen Dalton since we were kids, I'll always remember his sense of humor and his easygoing way. Another good one gone. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace Dalton, and thanks for what you did for me on my 16th birthday, I've never forgotten it.
