Kenneth Butler Obituary

Westport, Mass. - Kenneth J. Butler, 68, formerly of New London, passed away in Westport, Mass. Monday, Feb. 20, 2023. He was the son of the late James F. Butler and the late Roseailene R. (Rutz) Butler. Mr. Butler had worked for Amtrak in New London for 35 years.

He is survived by his brother James Butler and his wife Frances of Westport, Mass.; his two sisters, Diane Butler-Mello of Westport, Mass. and Marcia Vandegriend of California; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jane Simons and John Butler.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, MA 02790.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MSPCA-Angell Headquarters, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
